Loukas Papazoglou
Special Secretary for Privatization
Mr. Loukas Papazoglou was born in Athens in 1971. He is graduate of the Economic University of Athens (department of Business Administration) and holder of Master degree in International Financial Markets from the University of Reading (U.K.).
He has previously studied and worked on issues related to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), to e-business and to International Markets.
He has worked in the past as business consultant specialized in financial issues and he has also held executive management positions in commercial companies. Mr. Papazoglou has also been the Chief Executive Officer of ?&? S.A. He has taught Risk Management and Accounting in the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus.
His involvement with issues of public interest gave him the opportunity to be elected as President of the Union of students of the Economic University of Athens. He has also been elected Vice-President of the Union of European Democrat Students.
Mr. Papazoglou speaks fluently English and French.
Currently he holds the position of the Special Secretary for Privatisations in the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
