ORIGIN AND SETUP
Neochimiki S.A. is a group with a 30 year proven expertise in the Greek chemical market. The company,
since its establishment in 1974 the company has stayed in tune with the developments in the chemical
sector and has grown to become a leader in the distribution of chemical products and in the production
of detergents on behalf of multinationals and private labels in Greece.
In May 2003 Neochimiki entered the Greek Stock Exchange Market and has achieved an average
capitalization of 160 000 000.
PROFILE AND OPERATIONS
The company is a market leader in Greece in the production and distribution of chemical products and
via its subsidiaries in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania has expanded its presence in the Eastern
European markets.
Production Activities
NEOCHIMIKI is active in the production of detergents for multinationals and private label companies. Via
its subsidiary, LAMDA DETERGENT S.A., NEOCHIMIKI produces detergents in liquid and powder form
and is currently a market leader, with large clients such as Henkel, Unilever, Carrefour, Makro,
Veropoulos and others. Moreover, thanks to its state-of-the-art production unit in Atalanti, NEOCHIMIKI
produces raw materials for the Detergents and Cosmetics industries, also an essential part of the
Group's operations. NEOCHIMIKI's production activities represent approximately 40% of its total
turnover.
Distribution Activities
The Group's distribution activities include the distribution, packaging and repackaging of chemical raw
materials in bulk, as well as the commercial representation of chemical products of leading producers.
NEOCHIMIKI is the largest distributor of high-value-added chemical products in Greece. By focusing on
distribution, NEOCHIMIKI operates in a low-risk and high-profit market. The company distributes
products for several industries, such as Detergents, Cosmetics, Metallurgy, Textiles & Dyes, Special
Fertilizers, Water Processing, Food & Drink, Rubber, Paints & Lacquer, Plastics and Base Oils. During the
past few years, the Group has expanded its distribution activities in the Balkans, Cyprus and Germany,
through the operations of its subsidiaries abroad. NEOCHIMIKI's distribution activities represent
approximately 60% of its total turnover.

STRATEGY
o Expand business activities in the upcoming Eastern European markets, covering a total market of
130million people by utilizing the advantage of having excellent and safe logistics facilities approved by
the multinationals, located in key areas in the chemical distribution geographic map of the Balkans
o Increase market share by profiting from the international trend to shift from imports to reliable
local producers in the 5 billion Greek and 15 billion European chemical market.
o Broaden the company's dominant position in the Greek market by providing an even larger
portfolio of quality chemical products
o Augment the volume of production of detergent final products for multinationals and private labels
by capitalizing on the company's competitive advantages, which are:
1. Quality and environmentally approved facilities by the multinationals
2. Strong technological know-how in the detergent sector
3. Product design capacity.
4. Flexibility of manufacturing units
5. Reduced transportation costs
OUTLOOK
For 2005, NEOCHIMIKI estimates turnover to exceed 140 mil. Euro and earnings before taxes to rise
above 14 mil. Euro. According to the 5-year business plan, Neochimiki aims to grow by 30% in Sales
per year, reaching in 2009-10 on a consolidated basis, a turnover of 370 million Euros. One third of the
total turnover will come from production, while two thirds will come from distribution. More specifically,
120 million Euros are expected to come from the activities in South Eastern Europe.
