Dimitris Daskalopoulos
Chairman, Delta Holding S.A.
Mr. Daskalopoulos is the Chairman of Delta Holding S.A. and its subsidiary
companies. The Delta group of companies is the largest food processing and
distribution group in Greece with activities in 6 countries in S.E. Europe
and market leadership in pasteurized milk, yogurt, cheese and butter, chilled fruit
juices, ice cream, frozen foods, casual dining restaurants and catering services.
Mr. Daskalopoulos is Vice President of the Board of the Federation of Greek
Industries, President of the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries, member of
the National Agricultural Policy Council, board member of the American-Hellenic
Chamber of Commerce, member of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Greece,
the Greek Management Association, the Greek Institute of Management, among
others.
He is also member of the boards of several companies listed in the Athens
Stock Exchange such as The National Bank of Greece and Chipita S.A. On
international level, he is member of the European Round Table of Industrialists
(ERT), of the Young President's Organization and of the International Director's
Councils at the Guggenheim Museum and the Tate Gallery.
He holds a B.A. in Management Studies from the Athens School of Management
and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and is fluent in
English and French.
