Marinos
S. Yannopoulos, Executive General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Alpha
Bank, is also heading the Asset Management and Private Banking operations
of the Group. Prior to joining the Bank in 1994 he was the General Manager
of Ionian and Popular Bank from 1991 to 1993.
Before
returning to Greece he worked from 1983 to 1991 for Chase Manhattan Bank in
New York, London, Milan and Frankfurt. From 1978 to 1983 he also worked for
Exxon in London, Rome and Athens. Marinos is also Vice-Chairman of the board
of Directors of Delta Singular.
He is a graduate of Athens College´72 and holds degrees in Economics (MA University
of Sussex) and Business (MBA Manchester Business School). He is married and
has three children.
