European Small Cap Conference, New York City

21, 2002, New York -- Capital Link Forum's second annual European Small
Cap conference took place today at the Pierre Hotel in New York. Presentations
were made by executive managers of European companies and securities firms
from the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands. A webcast of the entire

The Forum was a tremendous
success and was attended by over 200 senior executives from the New York
investment community to view presentations and meet with the management
of Arcadis NV, Aveva Group plc, Brit Insurance Holdings plc, Credit Lyonnais
Securities, Euronext, Hannover Re, Medigene AG, SNS Securities, The New
Germany Fund Inc., Vedior NV, and Wavecom SA.
Mr. Christopher Brown,
President and CEO of Institutional Investor Inc. moderated the event and
presented the preliminary announcement of Euromoney Institutional Investor
financial results, which represented increased profits before tax, goodwill
and exceptional items by 10% to £25.2 million in the year to September 30
in spite of a 12% drop in revenues to £180 million. This announcement is

Mr. Jean-Marie Eveillard,
Co-President of First Eagle SoGen Funds who was voted Morningstar's International
Fund Manager of the Year, opened the conference with an overview of the
environment of European Small Caps and his commitment to these companies.
The luncheon keynote
speaker was Mr. Xavier Leroy, Director of Issuer Relations for Euronext.
He presented on the growth of Euronext, advantages of listing on Euronext
and the overall consolidation of exchanges in Europe.
