Jean-Yannick Liatis joined Credit Lyonnais Americas in September 2002 as a Managing Director, Head of European Equity Brokerage. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Business and Tax Law at the Paris II University , Mr. Liatis then received a Masters of Philosophy in International Economics and Finance from Paris I University and a PhD in Industrial Economics from the London School of Economics.

After completing his studies, Mr. Liatis joined Nomura Research Institute in London and Tokyo as a French Analyst/Strategist and then moved on to Paribas in London in European Equity Sales. Later, he joined Lehman Brothers as a Director of European Equity Sales and after that moved back to Paribas also as a Director of European Equity Sales but to North America. He was posted in Paris in July 1998 as Head of Equity Research/Head of French Product and in April 2000, he was appointed Co-Head of European Equity Sales at the BNP Paribas merged entity back in New York.
