Raymond L. Bell, 43 has been a vice president for the New York Stock Exchange since 1999.
Mr. Bell is responsible for oversight of the NYSE's corporate relationships with domestic listed companies in the Central region. His responsibilities include new business development for the combined Southeast and Central region, as well as closed-end fund issuers and advisors.
Prior to joining the NYSE, Mr. Bell was Vice President, Market Data Services and Equity Order Flow, at the American Stock Exchange, where he oversaw corporate relationships with market data vendors, broker/dealers, exchange specialists, and other equity & options exchanges. Prior to his joining the American Stock Exchange in 1997, Mr. Bell served as director of the Financial Services division of the Information Industry Association.
From 1989 and 1996, Mr. Bell held various positions with the NASDAQ Stock Market. Mr. Bell began his career as a stockbroker with Thomas James Associates in 1987.
Mr. Bell is a graduate of Ohio University where he studied Corporate Finance and studied Information Systems Management & Marketing at the University of Maryland.
