H. Bruce Bond

Bruce Bond is currently the President and CEO of Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC.
Before founding PowerShares, Mr. Bond served as Managing Director and Vice President of Nuveen Investments. In this position, he oversaw efforts in Exchange Traded Funds, Closed End Funds, and Unit Investment Trusts with additional responsibilities in Separately Managed Accounts and Mutual Funds. His positions included Director of Product Marketing, Managing Director of Structured Investments, and National Sales Manager.
Prior to being named as Director of Product Marketing he was responsible for much of the management/business operational aspects of the Structured Investments Division at Nuveen (ETF, CEETF, UITs). Direct responsibilities included National Accounts, Customer Service, Marketing, Web, Defined Portfolio and Closed-End Fund Trading Desk and Clearance. Mr. Bond joined Nuveen as National Sales Manager, to elevate their visibility and participation in the equity markets through the Defined Portfolio product category.
Prior to his employment at Nuveen, Mr. Bond was Vice President and Regional Sales Manager at First Trust Portfolios L.P., formerly Nike' Securities LP. During his tenure he was one of the top Sales Managers employed by First Trust.
He began his experience in the financial industry as an assistant to the VP of Sales at Griffin, Kubik, Stephens and Thompson, an upscale financial boutique in Chicago. In 1987 he received his Series 7 and 63 licenses and began his career in municipal bond sales to institutions and affluent individuals.
Mr. Bond is quoted frequently in the financial publications and appears on financial television regularly.
Mr. Bond is married and lives in Wheaton, IL. He and his wife, Kim, have three children ages 15, 12 and 8.
