Business Development Officer, iShares Barclays Global Investors
Brendan is responsible for working with Registered Investment Advisors in the Northeastern states. Previous to this role, Brendan worked with institutional investors including ETF market makers, institutional brokers, sell-side sales, mutual funds, hedge funds, and supported efforts with pension plans and plan sponsors. Brendan joined BGI in February 2001 to help cover iShares sales to broker/dealer advisors and planners in the New York Metropolitan area. Prior to BGI, Brendan worked at Salomon Brothers Asset Management in mutual fund and separate account sales and in a similar capacity for Neuberger Berman. Brendan graduated with a BA in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross. He earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation through the Investment Management Consultants Association in conjunction with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses. Brendan has a Master of Science in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco.
