Fundamental Data Limited is the leading independent provider of data on global Closed-end Funds. The Company specialises solely in the provision of information on Closed-end Funds and only provides facts, not opinion.

Fundamental Data has been fully independent and privately owned since 1996, providing data to a wide audience of broker analysts, fund issuers, wealth managers and other CEF users. The specialist nature of the present team combined with their many years experience in the sector has provided the Company with a strong foundation to assist the investment industry through the provision of detailed data and analytics.

The global universe of funds presently covered by Fundamental Data extends to some 2000, on which the Company collects and stores some 3000 data items on each fund. This data includes all Price, NAV and Distribution histories, together with performance figures, risk statistics, earnings details and comprehensive analytics on the entire universe of funds.

In 2006 the Company widened the provision of its CEF data to include all US-domiciled Closed-end funds, following a significant increase in enquiry for such specialist data services. The US CEF universe is organised into peer groups and allows detailed comparisons to be made across any range of funds.

Fundamental Data's flagship product is "FundWeb", an online subscription service allowing clients access to our comprehensive database. Funds are organised by Domicile into modules, allowing clients a choice of subscription services. The Company also provides bespoke data feeds, website feeds and report outsourcing services including production of Fund Issuers' fact sheets. We also maintain an on-line document database containing an ever-expanding library of publicly issued documents in relation to Closed-end funds.
