Brendan Kyne

BlackRock Product Management and Development
Brendan Kyne is a member of BlackRock's Product Management and Development Group. His responsibilities include the product development and management of the BlackRock close-end fund family, which currently encompasses 104 funds and approximately $45 billion in assets.
Mr. Kyne began his career as an Analyst with BlackRock's Private Client Group, where he worked on open- and closed-end fund products. In 2001, his area of analysis shifted almost exclusively to the development and management of the firm's closed-end fund products. He has since participated in the launch of over 40 funds, raising over $11 billion. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Kyne was an intern with Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Kyne earned a BS degree in Finance from Georgetown University in 2000.
