Derek Fulton
Head of Global and Asian Bonds, Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund, Aberdeen Global Income Fund, First Trust/Aberdeen Global Opportunity Income Fund and Toronto listed Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Investment Company Ltd.
Mr. Fulton is a lead member of the investment management teams for four closed-end funds: Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund, Aberdeen Global Income Fund, First Trust/Aberdeen Global Opportunity Income Fund and Toronto listed Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Investment Company Ltd. Mr. Fulton was a member of the fixed income team for Murray Johnstone and joined Aberdeen via the acquisition of Murray Johnstone in 2000. He has since become a senior member of the fixed-income team of Aberdeen and is responsible for the day-to-day management of global fixed income and government portfolios.
He is also a member of the Aberdeen's global economics team. Mr. Fulton graduated from the University of Strathclyde, BA (Hons) in Finance and is an Associate of the Institution of Investment Management & Research.
