Mr. Lesan works with the portfolio teams to monitor investment portfolio activity, current positioning and risk attribution. He represents the Portfolio Management Team in market and strategy reviews with Financial Advisors and institutions globally. Immediately before joining Calamos, Mr. Lesan was a research analyst with Schwab Capital Markets' quantitative research group in Chicago where he was responsible for various aspects of their quantitative research as well as representing the firm to their extensive list of institutional clients. Previous to that, Mr. Lesan served in the US Air Force as both a pilot and a professor at the US Air Force Academy. Mr. Lesan earned a B.S. degree in international affairs from the US Air Force Academy and a master of international affairs degree in international economic policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. He is a CFA charterholder and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
