Robert
S. Becker, Senior Vice President, is co-portfolio manager of Cohen &
Steers Utility Fund, Cohen & Steers Select Utility Fund and Cohen
& Steers REIT and Utility Income Fund. In addition, he leads the
firm's utility research and investment efforts. Mr. Becker joined Cohen
& Steers in December 2003.
He
most recently worked at Franklin Templeton Investments, where he was
a co-portfolio manager for the Franklin Utilities Fund. Mr. Becker has
previously held positions in equity research for the utility sector
at Salomon Smith Barney and Scudder, Stevens and Clark. Mr. Becker has
a BA degree in Political Economy from the University of California at
Berkeley.
