Vice President
U.S. Packaged Product Operations & Development
Ken Fincher
is Vice President in Nuveen’s U.S. Packaged Product Operations
and Development department, where he is responsible for overseeing secondary
market support for Nuveen’s family of closed-end exchange-traded
funds and developing new products. In this role, Fincher ensures a high
level of transparency for shareholders of Nuveen’s funds as well
as for the analyst and financial advisor community.
Fincher
joined Nuveen Investments in November 1989 as a Customer Service Representative
for the Money Market Desk, where he analyzed morning trading sessions
and took trades for Nuveen's Money Market Fund. In 1991 he was promoted
to Assistant Supervisor and his duties expanded to directing the daily
operation of the unit and handling high profile accounts. In 1994 he
joined the Closed-End Fund Product Management team, where he worked
to establish reporting standards for the funds and to develop relationships
in the secondary market. Fincher was named Assistant Vice President
for Nuveen's Structured Investments Product Management Group in 1998,
and in this role he spearheaded the development of the Dividend Advantage
structure that enabled Nuveen to raise significant new closed-end exchange-traded
fund assets. Since then, the structure has been adopted by nearly every
fund sponsor. He was promoted to Vice President in 2002.
Fincher
