Walter
Kerschbaum is an Executive Vice President of Euronext –US, the
North American representative office of Euronext, the pan-European Exchange.
The Euronext-US offices are in Manhattan. Mr Kerschbaum heads the marketing
team for Euronext’s cash products to US institutional clients.
Mr. Kerschbaum began
his career as a fund manager for the Crédit Agricole, Paris specializing
in the Asian markets. He later became head of Asian Equity Sales for
Baring Securities in New York and then BZW in Paris.
Beginning in 1995,
Mr. Kerschbaum began extensive studies in the fields of computer, internet
and telecom technologies coincident with fund management activities
related to these technologies.
He began working
for Euronext in Paris in the Marketing Department where he was the Institutional
Investor Relations Manager.
Mr. Kerschbaum received
a Bachelors degree in Engineering Mechanics from Penn State University
followed by an MBA from the University of Utah.
