Paul
Rogers is a member of the firm's Global Equity Group, where he is the Lead
Portfolio Manager for The Brazil Fund, and the Scudder Latin America Fund
and is a member of the portfolio management team for Deutsche Asset Management's
other Latin American portfolios..
Mr.
Rogers joined the firm in June 1994, responsible for Latin American corporate
bond research in Scudder's Emerging Markets/High Yield Bond Group. In June,
1995, he joined the Global Equity Group as an equity research analyst for
Latin America and took on portfolio management responsibilities beginning
in 1996. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the Latin American Group
at Chemical Bank from 1985 to 1994, including four years in Mexico. Before
that, Mr. Rogers was a Program Manager at the Americas Society and its affiliated
organizations
Mr.
Rogers received a BA degree in political science from the University of
Vermont in 1979 and an MBA degree in finance from New York University in
1989. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
