STOMANA INDUSTRY S.A. is a leading steel manufacturer in Bulgaria. It is present in the Balkan and international markets for more than 50 years. The company produces a wide range of products, including heavy plate, merchant bars, grinding balls and sections, as well as semi-finished products (blooms, slabs and billets).

On 15 June 2001, SIDENOR - Steel Products Manufacturing Company SA, Greece (member of VIOHALCO Group of Companies) acquired from EUROMETAL S.A. the majority of the share capital of STOMANA AD and assumed responsibility for the overall operation. The transition to the private sector, which constituted a turning point in the long company history, involved a major investment plan aiming at the modernization of the production facilities and the overall restructuring of the company.

STOMANA INDUSTRY S.A. continuously invests in the most up-to-date technology, in order to ensure production of high quality products and high standards for customer service.

The company steel production strictly meets widely accepted quality standards such as EN, DIN, ASTM, JIS, BS, Lloyd's Register, Germanischer Lloyd, etc. The company operates under ISO EN 9001:2000, certified by TUV. A System for Environment Management according to ISO 14001 is being presently developed, as well.
