The Pari is the first Bulgarian daily specialized in economic news and analysis, the first with an electronic version (www.pari.bg was launched in 1996), and the first with a page in English. The newspaper comes out on weekdays.
In July 2005 the newspaper became part of Bonnier, a Swedish publishing group, which acquired 50% of the capital of Business Media Group. Bonnier is publisher of the leading business dailies in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Austria, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Croatia.
In 2006 the Pari Daily was fully remodeled up to European standards. For 15 years now it has remained at the top of the Bulgarian media market. It is one of the leading opinion-makers and a guide of the Bulgarian business.
The newspaper has a specific readership: 60% of its readers are professional economists and financiers, more than a quarter have their own business.

The brand has a lot of initiatives, one of which is the prestigious Bank of the Year award. The prize was established in 1992. It is the only such award in the sector and is granted to the best bank for the preceding year. The ceremony gathers together leading figures in banking, politics and business.
