Mr. Deng is a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Lazard Asset Management. Prior to joining Lazard in 1997, he managed closed-end fund portfolios, and taught at New York University and Hofstra University.

Mr. Deng has a masters in international finance from Columbia University, an M.A. from China's Beijing University, and completed his Ph.D. course work at New York University. He is Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of The New York Society of Security Analysts.
