Liam O'Neil is a director at Merrill Lynch and is responsible for institutional sales/marketing of Index Products (ETFs, HOLDRS & VIPERS). In this role he works with hedge funds, active & passive money managers, mutual funds, and pension funds to implement efficient investment strategies using Index Products. Prior to moving into a senior institutional sales/marketing role, Liam was part of the team that originated the Select Sector SPDRs and HOLDRS in 1998.

A native of Miami, Florida, Liam holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Florida and an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
