Michael is the founding principal and chief investment officer of New Millennium Advisors, a New York City-based equity and balanced investment management firm with a value-oriented approach to growth stock selection. He and his associates use proprietary and quantitative disciplines to manage pension plans, and individual accounts.
Michael has recently spoken at major industry conferences on exchange-traded funds as financial planning tools, and has several recent articles on the subject published in industry magazines. He also has assisted in the development and evaluation of indexes in connection with potential ETFs.
Formerly a senior portfolio manager and associate research chairman at a midtown asset management at research firm, he managed approximately $650 million in total assets, including a Fund that was ranked by Lipper Analytical Services as the best performing variable annuity growth fund in 1990 and for the combined period of 1989 and 1990.
Michael has over twenty years' experience on Wall Street as a market strategist and portfolio manager developing forecasting models of the economy, the stock market and numerous industries. He frequently appears as a guest on financial television programs, and is quoted in the media. A former director of the Institute of Quantitative Research in Finance, he is also a member of a number of professional associations, including Alpha Pi Mu, the National Industrial Engineering Honor Society. Michael also serves as Treasurer of the New York chapter of QWAFAFEW.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Columbia University where he also pursued doctoral studies.
