'Saumya (Sam) Banerjee joined JPMorgan in 2001. He is responsible for Country Funds and Asian access products research. Before that, he was a funds analyst at ING Barings, a position he had held since November 1998.

Sam graduated from the Indian Statistical Institute with a Bachelor's and masters in statistics. He holds a Ph.D in financial economics from Boston University and has taught both at Boston University and Brunel University.
